Honour Ladies FC face Dannaz Women in matchweek 5 of the Ikeja DF-HRA Women’s League on saturday the 28th of September. Dannaz currently sits at top of Group A with 6 points from 2 matches while Honour Ladies are second with 4 points from 3 matches.
Coach Daniel in an interview with Honour FC Media said that Dannaz are the team to beat in Group A after they demolished United Angels 8-0 during their last encounter. They also defeated Ablaze Amazons 7-2.
Daniel says that those scorelines show that Dannaz are a top side especially as they play in the nation’s top flight, the NWFL Premiership (Nigeria Women Football League Premiership).
He however noted that football is all about strategy, determination and discipline on the field with both teams fielding 11 players each. He believes that the match would serve as test for his players who are already looking forward to the encounter.
When asked what the scoreline would be, Daniel said he doesn’t know but what he does know is that it won’t be a thrashing. He predicts that his team would be the first and probably only team to put up a strong opposition to Dannaz in Group A.
