Honour Ladies kicked off their 2024/25 Ikeja Women’s league with 2-2 draw against Flourish Queens at the Dairy Farm Primary School field, Agege. The entertaining match saw both sides score two goals apiece as they shared the spoils.
Coach Daniel said he was impressed with the performance of the team as they played very well and were unfortunate to not have won the match. He also complimented his opponents for bringing their A game and making the game a tight one.
Oyindamola scored the first goal from the penalty spot while Blessing Adams scored the second from an assist by Angel Asoluka shortly after the first. Flourish Queens came back in the second half to equalise.
Daniel said he expects the girls to carry on fighting till the last day of the season and have a favourable league standing at the end of the season.
